Construction of a sports complex – Mantes-la-Jolie (78)
Construction of a sports complex within the Val Fourré district
The Sports Fertiles project, conceived within the momentum of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, proposes an iconic sports complex at the heart of Val Fourré, combining sport, nature, and architecture within a strong social and environmental approach. Located at the entrance to the neighborhood, it extends the continuity of public spaces and incorporates an in-ground garden to address climate challenges. Its bioclimatic architecture, made of wood and glass, brings together compactness, transparency, and energy efficiency.
Our proposal reimagines the program by placing the main gymnasium at an elevated level, opening onto the city and the broader landscape like a sporting belvedere.
Bringing together a local gymnasium and a space for elevation, the building becomes a place for living, meeting, and urban transformation—a catalyst for renewal in the area.
